Branson

Often times we are approached by potential clients looking for a children’s portrait session but they want something a bit different from the traditional portrait.  This portrait session with Branson on location at a local park in Sarasota, FL was just that!  With a short attention span and time frame to work in, I put my assistant to good use as a “playmate” to achieve these fun playground images.  She and I had a blast interacting with Branson and posing him in a way that almost made the camera invisible. 

As you can see in the final image, Branson came to visit us here in the studio.  He was dressed in his Sunday best for a portrait his grandparents could hang on the wall.  He was shy at first and his smile did not want to come out to play…but I always find a way!  Laughter is contagious as they say, and this little guy was nothing but giggles once I warmed him up!  While it was just an exercise to make him more comfortable, these impromptu moments often make for great photo composites.

Being big kids ourselves, we love any excuse to have fun while still hard at work!
