Kirk Pinkerton, PA, Attorneys at Law
Florida Bar has strict rules and regulations regarding the creation of portraits for attorneys, something that we are very familiar with.
The Federal Building, built in 1934, was selected because of the striking Corinthian columns and its historical significance to Sarasota.
We have worked with several members of the Kirk Pinkerton law group on different occasions and we are always so pleasantly surprised by the personable, charismatic and knowledgeable group that has been assembled.

Heavenly Cupcakes
If one word could sum up birthdays Cupcakes would be more than appropriate. Becky Schultes, of Heavenly Cupcakes, does a spectacular job at making them just that, heavenly. With two locations to choose from (Gulfgate or Siesta Key) you can get all of the cupcakes, cake pops and whoopie pies your heart desires. Don’t tell anyone, but Becky left us over a dozen delicious cupcakes to enjoy after this photo shoot. That might explain why our pants seem to have shrunken. Recommendation? Don’t eat over a dozen cupcakes between two people in one day. Easy to do, not easy to undo.

Florida Leather Gallery
When John Matter came to us to photograph the new Florida Leather Gallery down off Tamiami Trail by the mall, we were excited. Location photography is a great treat, and the gorgeous combinations that met us there were unforgettable to photograph. (If Maria could have put them all in her car and taken them home she would have) The sky that night wasn’t as unbelievable as other nights, but we were still able to capture the building, in all of its beautiful glory, with a great blue backdrop.

Medical shoots are my favorite, and every time I get to participate in creating marketing images for a doctor’s office I get excited about looking at all of the interesting machines they have. The Sarasota Cataract Institute is full of state-of-the-art technology, and it is actually among one of the world’s most advanced treatment and research facilities. Dr. Harry B. Grabow is a very talented doctor, and has a beautiful facility.
Manatee County Boys and Girls Club
Working with David Voss of Voss & Associates and Kelly Kure, of kuredesign was a wonderful experience. Manatee County Boys and Girls Club is an amazing facility for so many children I was just blown away by the staff and their dedication.
I just have to say that I love my job and working with Non Profit organizations that help so many in our community.
International Artistic Stone
The best thing about my line of work is the incredible amount of variety I get to see on a daily basis. A day in the building at International Artistic Stone is like a day in ancient Greece, as the masters are carving figures out of marble block. Robert Krolikiewicz, owner of International Artistic Stone, is an incredibly talented artist, who can and will reproduce just about anything the mind can imagine. We were awed by the amazing collection of detailed work, the huge machinery and the dedicated staff there on-site.

The Sarasota Orthopedic Associates is a client I work with often, shooting business portraits, and each time is a treat. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable, courteous and professional. This months doctor, Jeff Silverstein, M.D. was a pleasure to work with.

Ellen is a wonderful artist, whose mediums vary from necklaces to dolls. We love when she brings in her newest creations and we get to have the fun of documenting them. An extreme attention to detail is always our biggest focus when reproducing art. The image when done well will not only showcase the beauty of the piece but compliment it as well. We laid these necklaces on a sheet of glass to give them a slight shadow.

I just love doing Medical Photography. SMH Radiology Associates, a long time client recently called me once more to update some of the physicians on board.
The images are to be used on their website and promotional material. The focus was to create images that are simple, easy to crop for various purposes that show their work environment.

Liz Arme, Realtor
Working with Liz was great, since she already had some specific ideas about what she was hoping to accomplish with the shoot. Prior to going out, we scouted several locations, looking at light and backgrounds that would fit into her ideas. We decided on two separate areas in one home, trying to incorporate the details we discussed.
The images were to be used on her website and business cards, so my focus was also on creating an image that could be cropped to accommodate the business card size. After discussing clothing colors and reflecting on the areas we selected for the images, we were able to create an impressive color palette and flattering angles to show Liz at her best.
